Tropical North Queensland is the only place in the world where two world heritage listed areas meet; with the Wet Tropics Rainforest to the west and the Great Barrier Reef to the east.
The region has some of the most beautiful parks and beaches in Queensland, and is great for diving, camping, hiking and fishing. There are also a number of spectacular sights like waterfalls, volcanic tubes and Daintree Rainforest.
The wet season runs from November to May, with a relatively dry season from June to October.
