Reef World is an all natural aquarium, using only sand filtered sea water and natural sunlight. There are very few aquariums in the world that are all natural therefore making this place unique. By being all natural you are able to visit the reef without getting wet. Most of our marine life and all of our corals are local and from the Wide Bay Area. The Aquarium was EST: 1979 and has gone through many changes over the years. Wonder around the tanks, spot the shark eggs & babies, give a green sea turtle a scratch, swim with the sharks or feed our giant 80kilo Queensland blue grouper. We offer hands on experience which allows you to handle some of the marine life and fee them as well.
