Hunter Valley

The Hunter Valley is centered on the city of Newcastle, 160km north of Sydney, and extends inland to the Hunter River valley townships. The region is commonly known as Wine Country and is also well known for its mining industry. 

The Hunter Valley is an excellent destination for anyone who enjoys wine and cheese tours, museums and historical tours. The region is known for its lakes, bays and national parks for those that enjoy fishing, boating, camping and hiking.
